Keeping culture alive
THE Andhra Maha Sabha of South Africa (AMSSA) hosted its International Raam Bhajana Festival at the Durban Exhibition Centre on Saturday.
The event happens every four years but was on hold because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
There were two segments of the Bhajana; the Hari Bhajana, with 12 participating temples, and the Raam
Bhajana, with 16 groups from all over South Africa.
The international participant was the Mauritius Telugu Maha Sabha. The group participated in both segments.
