Keeping up with the kids

IT MAY not be so easy to keep up with the Kardashian kids if you are one of those moms who look to celebrities for your child’s style inspiration.

That’s because the junior Kardashians, like most celebrity kids, have their outfits planned by stylists and they rock designer wear.

That said, one of the sisters from the reality TV show, Khloé Kardashian, is racking up brownie points on social media for her relatively low-key parenting of her daughter True, aged 4.

In a recent article, the Wall Street Journal reported on the people behind celebrity kids’ looks.

“Many famous children work with a stylist these days.

“Dani Michelle said she had put together looks for Kourtney Kardashian’s 10-year-old daughter, Penelope Disick, as well as Kourtney herself and her half-sister Kendall Jenner.

“Danielle Levi, who styles Kim Kardashian, shares full outfit credits for her client’s 9-year-old, North West when she posts photos of the mother and daughter on Instagram,” said the report.

Hollywoodlife.com reported on Kim and Kanye West’s daughter, North, who turned heads once again at this year’s edition of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week – fashion’s most opulent week on the calender.

The mother-daughter duo have built a reputation for rocking red carpet events in show-stopper outfits.

However, it seems that for some Kardashian Minnie-me’s, keeping it real is more than a catchphrase.

Age appropriate:

True’s mom, Khloé, has developed a reputation for dressing her little girl in age-appropriate fashion. And as it turns out, True sometimes sports clothing that is easily accessible and may be affordable – for some.

Buzzfeednews.com reported last month that Khloé recently posted photographs of True wearing a stained top, which garnered positive feedback on the socials.

“Discussing the photos on a Reddit forum, it was noted that True is one of the only members of this generation of the KarJenner family to actually dress in age-appropriate clothes as fans heaped praise on Khloé for letting her daughter embrace her childhood,” said the report.

Some of the comments in response to the picture of True included: “She’s got a refreshing spirit! Something that can’t be described, but only seen and felt. Such a cool kid.”

Another replied: “It’s because True is in age-appropriate clothes in age-appropriate colours.”
