Chadha, Fazal to wed

ACTRESS Richa Chadha is set to tie the knot with her beau, Ali Fazal. While fans are awaiting more wedding details, the tentative date is October 4.

A source said Chadha was likely to marry Fazal in Mumbai and the couple would host a wedding reception a day later for family, friends and industry peers.

Their wedding festivities will begin on September 30. There are likely to be three pre-wedding functions – cocktail, sangeet and mehendi, in New Delhi.

Although details of the outfit are not yet known, the jewellery has been picked from Bikaner.

For the Delhi functions, the actress’s jewellery is being custom-made by a 175-year-old jeweller family from Bikaner. The Khajanchi family are known for statement heirloom pieces.

They are descendants of Moti Chand Khajanchi, an early art collector in Rajasthan and patrons of their jewellery include the royal family of Bikaner. Last week, Chadha took to social media to confirm her October wedding.

She posted an image that read: “New Life, Loading” with a tweet, “can’t wait for October”.
