The 3-year-old will compete in the main race of the Hollywoodbets Durban July at the Greyville Racecourse on Saturday.

Trainer Joe Soma said Red Saxon would be participating in the Durban July for the first time. ‘The jockey is Serino Moodley. We are hoping to win.

‘That is the aim. But it will be a tough race and we are all looking to achieve the same thing.

‘If we win, it will be a bonus, but I will be happy with the first four placings,’ said Soma.
