HONOUR

KAILASH Satyarthi, the 2014 Nobel Peace Laureate from India, was the special guest of the Arya Samaj South Africa on Saturday where he spoke about the rapid increase in the number of child labourers in subSaharan Africa.

Satyarthi is in Durban this week for the 5th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour.

Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save the Childhood Movement), the grassroots movement he founded, has liberated more than 100 000 children from forced labour.
