Put Phoenix in the past

WITH reference to the letter “Clandestine war being waged in SA” (POST, January 19-23).

Visvin Reddy, are you pulling the wool over the Indian community’s eyes? We Indians are trying to rectify and work with our black brothers and sisters to put the focus of Phoenix behind us.

If you as a community representative keep bringing up this issue of Phoenix, then how are we to forget what happened?

Secondly, you, similar to your previous boss, the late Mr Amichand Rajbansi, took the Indian votes and sold them to the ANC. Visvin can fool some of the people some of the time, but Visvin can’t fool all the people all of the time.

Visvin, you voted with the ANC, so the status quo remains. Don’t complain about what’s happening in this country, because you supported the ANC.

We Indians will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of. And don’t even try to be the majority of Indians’ voice, because you will be the last representative and we will still never take your misleading advice.

There’s no truth in what you say.
