No politics in stating the truth

THE letter by Lynenelle Maraj, “Cheap politics for DA” (the POST, October 13-17) refers.

Stating the fact and being critical about it is Chatsworth’s style. You live in Verulam, and from your response or Visvin Reddy’s response, you have no clue about Chatsworth. I am the secretary of a community forum in Chatsworth, and can you tell me which community forum Visvin hailed from?

There's no politics in stating the truth, and you cannot argue about Visvin, the political grasshopper, to me.

I read with interest your response or Visvin’s. There's no mention of the statements that I made.

Let me inform you that I lived a better life, in your words, under the white elite rule. In terms of the placards in Phoenix, one would interpret that placard to satisfy one’s self.

You further state about the lazy councillors in Phoenix. Now, you or Visvin will never know the answer to that statement because you and Visvin were never ward councillors.

Lastly, your advice should be given to Visvin and not to the biggest opposition party in this country, and Visvin is no good for the Indians because, remember, he wanted to ship us back to India.
