Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

KUCH Kuch Hota Hai, which translates to “something happened”, revolves around Anjali (Sana Saeed), the daughter of Rahul Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan), and his late wife, Tina (Rani Mukerji).

Before her death, Tina leaves behind letters for her daughter to read on each birthday. On her 8th birthday, Anjali reads her mother’s final letter, introducing her to her namesake, Anjali Sharma (Kajol).

Rahul and Sharma were best friends in college before the arrival of Tina. Rahul is immediately smitten by her. He is unaware that his friend harbours feelings for him. Rahul and Tina marry, but Tina believes she came between Rahul and Sharma. In her final letter to Anjali, she asks her to reunite the two.
